Pengembangan Media Edukasi Stiker Doa untuk Pembiasaan Nilai Keagamaan Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Religious value education in elementary schools requires learning supports that can connect religious practices with students’ daily activities. This study aims to describe the development and implementation of prayer stickers as a visual educational medium to support the habituation of daily prayers among third-grade elementary school students. The activity was conducted in two third-grade classes at an elementary school in Karawang Regency involving 56 students. The media was designed by selecting prayers related to students’ daily routines and presenting them through concise text, illustrations, and colors, then installed in locations that were visible and relevant to school activities. Evaluation was conducted descriptively one month after implementation through interviews with two homeroom teachers. The data were grouped into student interest, suitability of the media to student characteristics, ease of use, indications of changes in prayer habits, strengths, and limitations. The findings indicate that the stickers attracted students’ attention, were considered appropriate for third-grade learners, and were easy to use without additional devices. Teachers also observed positive indications in students’ awareness of and attention to prayer readings, although the change was not uniform and still required teacher guidance. The study positions prayer stickers as a visual reminder that complements, rather than replaces, teacher-led habituation. Its contribution lies in applying a simple physical visual medium directly at activity points in the school environment and identifying its practical strengths and limitations as a support for religious habituation.
