Peer Review Process
All authors submitting manuscripts to Studia: Journal of Humanities and Education Studies are required to complete a Statement of Ethical Compliance, which can be downloaded from the journal’s official website. This document confirms adherence to ethical standards and is not a manuscript template; all submissions must strictly follow the journal’s official manuscript guidelines.
The editorial workflow begins with an initial screening by the editorial team, which includes checks for formatting, completeness, plagiarism, and alignment with the journal’s focus on humanities and education. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are then forwarded for peer review.
Studia employs a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to guarantee fairness and objectivity. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers based on the following criteria:
-
Originality, novelty, and contribution to the fields of humanities and/or education
-
Rigor and clarity of methodology, theoretical framework, or analytical approach
-
Coherence, logical structure, and clarity of writing
-
Relevance to the aims, focus, and scope of the journal
Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editorial board may decide to:
-
Accept the manuscript
-
Request minor revisions
-
Request major revisions
-
Reject the manuscript
Authors who are asked to revise their manuscripts will be given a specific timeframe to submit the revised version, accompanied by a detailed point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments.
The editorial team of Studia is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and efficiency throughout the review process. Authors may contact the editorial office at any time for updates or clarification regarding the status of their submission.
